Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you ride

Layer your clothing for different climates — our tours can go through cool mountain passes and warm valleys. Bring a rain suit, as mountain rain can be unexpected. A detailed packing list will be sent in your tour information packet.
We provide motorcycle insurance. You are responsible for the deductible (1,400–2,500 EUR depending on the bike). A contract and credit card number for the deductible are required at tour start. We will not charge your card unless damage occurs. Ask about our VIP Insurance to lower the deductible.
To ensure the best service, groups are limited to 10 motorcycles. The average is 6–8 bikes per group.
Medical support in Eastern Europe is considered high-level. If you need assistance, we will help you find adequate support. Medication is readily available.
No — we balance leisure time and road time carefully. If you wish, you can ride at your own pace between stop points. Your guide will provide a detailed daily plan. We typically ride 200–350 km per day (125–224 miles).
All lunches and dinners are included in guided tours, except on rest days. Dinners are usually à la carte at local restaurants so guests can enjoy local specialties.
All our tours include sightseeing time — museums, cultural sights, historic areas, archaeological sites, and more. We design every route to make your travel experience memorable.
EU, USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, and Ireland citizens do not need a visa for up to 90 days. Bring your credit card (for the insurance deductible), driver's license, international driver's license, and passport.
In most places, yes. However, some spots accept cash only, so we advise carrying some cash for daily expenses. We ensure ATM access throughout the tour.
We do not book airline tickets, as many guests prefer using mileage programs or searching competitive fares themselves. See our 'How to get here' section for airline recommendations.
